Gift from Vaish at Rivoli
As a friendly gesture to my unpaid voluntary positive testimonials for Vaish at Rivoli, Sachin gifted me a free shirt made from fabric of my choice. Of course, I didn't work with that in mind, but that gesture speaks huge about Vaish at Rivoli and it's managing partner Sachin Vaish. Vaish at Rivoli really does have excellent service and is one of India's honorable tailoring houses.
And no, I am not charging anything for this positive testimonial.
I even ordered a third suit from Vaish and am waiting for it to be ready.
Bottom line, I recommend Vaish at Rivoli for men's tailored products.

Other Pricing
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
BESPOKE SHIRTS
100% Indian cotton shirts cost around Rs.2700 or so, perhaps that is the starting price.
100% Italian cotton shirts usually start around 3-4k and the majority can be found in the 3-7k league. Top notch brands cost 10-20k or up.
I am talking of fabric plus tailoring both together over here. They rarely work on fabric brought from elsewhere.
BESPOKE TROUSERS
Usually around 30% of the cost of the entire suit. Both wool and polywool trousers are available.
Entry level fabric like VBC Super 110 costs around 6k without tailoring.
An average trouser (including tailoring) will probably start around 6-15k.
Starting price is around 4k.
BESPOKE OVERCOATS
Overcoats start at Rs.20,000 but Cashmere of course costs some premium and costs Rs.30,000 and above.
Again, we are talking of 100% Italian wool most of the times :)
BELTS
Made in India from Italian leather. These cost around Rs.1000-2000 each.
TIES
You get both bespoke as well as ready made ties here. Although you don't find ready made suits or shirts or trousers, nothing of that sort.
Ties start around 2k for Vaish made ties and go as high as Rs.7,000+ for some Italian brands (which start around 3-4k).
It goes without saying that we are talking of 100% Natural (I think) Silk (Sure here) for ties.
SHOES
They don't deal in shoes.

Vaish at Rivoli is NOT D.Vaish & Sons
Although both Vaish at Rivoli and D.Vaish & Sons are located near a cinema near Regal building in CP, they aren't the same tailor and I am not talking of D.Vaish in my blog. Where Vaish is known for its positive feedback, it is the exact opposite with the other Vaish who sells cheaper but inferior clothing, often fake, and even ready made stuff as well.
The real Vaish (Vaish at Rivoli) does not sell ready made suits not even ready made shirts for that matter.

Vaish at Rivoli
Vaish at Rivoli
Vaish at Rivoli is a high end bespoke tailoring boutique which basically deals in men's suits and overcoats. Vaish also deals in bespoke shirts, bespoke trousers, ties and belts as well. They basically provide clothing for men, but do offer formal business suits for women as well.
Vaish at Rivoli has been in business in the same place (Regal building) at CP (Connaught Place) in New Delhi in India since 1940 when it was founded by OP Vaish. Today his son Ashok Vaish and grand son Sachin Vaish run this business. And I must tell you that Ashok Vaish has also served as an apprentice at Savile Row in London.
This tailoring house is known to have served high profile British officers and military men during the pre independence period in India. After independence they became the first choice for Indian nawabs and industrialists. However, now they are famous amongst the capital's professionals and executives.
He boasts of a clientele comprised of Vir Sanghvi, Malvinder Singh, KK Birla etc. Without doubt Vaish at Rivoli is India's no.1 tailor and other than Syed Bawkher in Chennai, nobody else even comes in the same league, not even Kaichens in Mumbai.
Nevertheless their suits start at a very reasonable price of Rs.12,000 and their average 100% Italian wool suit costs just a little above Rs.25,000. And at Rs.25,000-30,000 we are talking of bespoke and fully stitched canvassed suits, not fused, not even fused canvas. And of course, their top fabrics sell for a couple of lacs a suit.
For more details you can visit their website vaish.com or call them and give Aakshey Talwar's reference. :-) But no, that won't get you a discount. :-)
And if you are wondering who I am, then I am Aakshey Talwar, just one of their thousands of happy customers who has a passion for quality men's clothing.
Warm Regards
